{Robinson Family in Barbados}

On a recent family cruise, my family and I had just bought a day pass at the Barbados Hilton and were adjusting the umbrella when a crisp-looking family approached me and asked if I wouldn’t mind taking a few family photos for them. It was one of their last days on the island and they were hoping to make it last by capturing a few special family moments in this gorgeous setting.

I excitedly agreed and felt so thankful that God had so ordered their steps right to me on a beach full of people so I could serve as a blessing to them in their brief moment of need. Wow.

They were kind enough to remember my website and get in touch to give me these photos, which were taken with their camera. The impromptu, providential nature of this shoot made it so very special to all of us. God is so good!

{Baby Lacey}

Baby Lacey is precious as can be at just less than 3 weeks old. She was "milk drunk" as Mommy Tiffany did her best to make her extra sleepy for the shoot and it worked, at least for a while. :) What a special blessing right from the gracious hand of God...

Sweet Audrey Jane

At 3½ months, little Audrey is just as precious as can be with those big blue eyes, smooth, soft skin, and cheeks that you want to seriously nibble.

She wasn't giving out smiles for free on Saturday, however; instead, she made me work hard for each and every one.

All the smiles she eventually gave made all the funny faces and crying worth all our efforts. A big thank you to Mommy Juliane and our friend, Kenzie, who were both a terrific help in making the shoot a real success.

Baby William

My first newborn shoot was both exciting and a little nerve-wracking, but William was so precious that my fears melted away as soon as I met him. {sigh} All went well, aside from his refusal to really fall asleep, even after 2 feedings and a sauna of a house to keep him feeling cozy. He also tinkled twice. Oops. But in the end, I was thankful to have managed to capture his cuteness, wide awake and all. :)

Mommy Sasha

Capturing this beautiful mother was a sweet delight for me because she is not only gorgeous and super photogenic, but she has such a laid back, relaxed manner that it made my job almost easy. She's a dream...and due in just 4 days.

The relationship between a father and his daughter truly is something special and it was a sure blessing to capture it between these two. It warmed my heart to see the genuine love, adoration, and light-hearted humor that they shared, so much so that I had a cheek ache on the way home from smiling. :)

It was so fun to photograph these cutie-pies. They were full of energy, smiles, and action! I just love their gorgeous blond hair, bright eyes, and the great love that Jackson has for his baby sister. It was just precious. :)
